TYLER LAFERRIERE-HOLLOWAY

Vice President of Research and Communications

As Vice President of Research and Communications, Tyler amplifies and enhances the firm’s messaging. He is able to leverage his rigorous macroeconomic perspectives, and the firm’s methods, to elevate the Monograph brand. Tyler conveys subject matter expertise across the firm’s networks and believes that the best way to impart economic information and investment concepts is to keep them concise yet incisive.

Before joining Monograph, Tyler was an associate economist with the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation’s Institute for Applied Economics. His experience at the LAEDC included industrial, labor market, and policy research pertaining to the Los Angeles and the broader Southern California region. His specialties included foreign direct investment, the local workforce, real estate, and the emerging electric mobility and green technology cluster. Before the LAEDC, Tyler had held positions at the USDA Economic Research Service and Federal Reserve Board of Governors, both in Washington D.C.

Tyler received his master’s degrees in applied economics and statistics from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. He also holds bachelor’s degrees, with honors, in economics and political science from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.

Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Tyler now lives in Playa Vista with his husband Travis. On weekends, he can usually be found near a beach, on a hiking trail, in a museum, or working with his friends and neighbors in local volunteer groups.
