ALEX YAFTALI, CFA
Partner & CIO
Alex is a Partner and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Monograph. In his role, Alex oversees the firm’s Investment, Portfolio Management and Trading programs. He also previously held the role of Chief Compliance Office (CCO).
Alex’s expertise is in the implementation of multi-generational wealth and institutional client strategies. Alex enjoys working with clients to identify trade-offs associated with client financial circumstances and implementing complex financial strategies through efficient, cost-effective approaches.
Prior to Monograph, Alex spent the first ten years of his career at Dimensional Fund Advisors, where he managed international equity portfolios, traded foreign currencies, and improved investment operations.
Alex earned an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2013. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2007 and B.S. in Mathematics/Economics with Specialization in Computing from UCLA in 2004. In his free time, Alex is an avid tennis player.
